Photos of Toscana – May to September

,

I’ve been offline for what seems eons. The high tourist season (I’d call it summer, but there wasn’t one to speak of this year) has been hectic, the teaching never eased over the summer as I thought it might, throw in a website and a brochure, group guide and translation work…and…we’re now nocking the final arrows ready for our wizzbang trip to Australia to present a Montecucco wine at Vinitalia Down Under event in Melbourne in October.

So to the person who, before I left Australia, wrote to me and said, “Why would you want to go to Italy? You won’t find any work there”: you were very clearly and plainly wrongissimo. So there.

Now that I have creative time and loads of it, I find I have been making use of by taking photos. Digital photography is almost immediate, it requires very little editing, and no annealing, forming, soldering or polishing and, with Toscana as subject, 90% of the work is done. The perfect procrastination from other neglected tasks, such as writing. Beats ironing.

  1. Thank you Ali. I’ve missed your blogs. Hello from Honolulu on my way home from Alaska. Perth is sooooo far from anywhere. Love to yourself and Marco xxxx
