“As long as I can remember, painting and nature have been the joyful driving forces in my life.”

A couple of years ago I posted about artist Swedish-born Christine Persson’s Vedic Art classes and workshops in Tuscany. Since then, Christine has held a number of open house exhibitions and has headed Vedic Art workshops in France, Sweden and Italy.
She has lived half of her creative life in southern Tuscany and her later works are influenced by the particular landscape and unique quality of light of her Tuscan mountain home.

As well as being a Vedic art ‘practitioner’ Christine is has been established as an artist for many years, working in diverse materials from paper, gold leaf and fabric to aquarelle, oil and acrylic. Most striking is her obvious delight in the use of colour and contrast.

In June of 2015 she held her retrospective exhibition in the Fortezza of Montalcino.

What a glorious venue to display half a lifetime’s work.

Christine holds intimate and one-on-one day classes at her home and in pop-up venues, as well as BnB style art stays at her home in Montegiovi.
In the coming spring of 2016 Christine will be adding to her Vedic art workshop itinerary and holding several workshops around Europe, which I’ll list with links at the bottom of this post.

Over the past 12 months Christine has been forging fresh trails with her art in conjunction with Way of Nature and after participating in a workshop with founder John P. Milton here in Tuscany, Christine travelled to the United States to further her experience.

Generous with her time, her art and her hugs, nature and creativity are Christine’s fuel for her joy in a holistic artistic life. Following her absolute passion, Christine is testimony that “Doing what you love so that you love all you do” is the foundation to living a life in balance with the soul.
