This was going to be the first of a weekly Saturday Studio post…and then a Sunday Studio one, which could still exploit some cheesey alliteration.
Nope, didn’t happen. But the new studio lights finally happened, making new jewellery happened, and I finally got down and dirty with the heady realisation that Christmas is coming. Soon. Shit.
It didn’t stop me whiling away an hour or two at Christine Persson’s open house art exhibition yesterday afternoon, or making gluten-and-egg-free gingerbread biscuits for my sister.

And then eating a good portion of them myself.
And then there was the notary office visit and waiting around all that fabulous art combined with too much time unattended caused photos like this:
and in between all of that, making orders for chestnut earrings
they’re hand cut, about 3cm x 4cm wide, made from fused fine silver and copper, domed, brushed and polished, with sterling silver earring hooks.
These guys above are waiting for new owners in Arcidosso, at I Lobe You Bijoux Artiginali and the guys below just need their hooks and one last buff and then they pack their bags and travel to their new life adorning beautiful ear lobes in the Antipodes.
Studio Saturday will continue each Saturday. Possibly.
A presto
Cheers and Ciao,
Ali
