For my followers here who may or may not know that I am a poet, my other blog is called 12 Degrees and Skiving – I’d love it if you could follow me there, too, if you haven’t already.
I’m letting you know this as I’m no longer have a personal page on Facebook, although I have a Kittykatmandoo page, and I seem to be ‘not being published’ here any longer, despite having written poetry for weekly ‘column’ for the past 9 months…and in spite of enquiries as to why, using all modes of communication, bar homing pigeon, I haven’t received an answer.
While I do think professionalism in the form of honest communication isn’t a tall order, I’ve stopped feeling like a ghost, it’s not the end of the world – far from it; it’s a mere blip on the radar in the grand poetic scheme of things, and I’m thankful for the time that I had there and the platform for publication. It just means that I need to push my wares myself a little more. I write for myself, first and foremost, thought there are days when it is difficult to write into a great big nothing.
So…to alleviate writing into the void, I’m asking outright (and asking favours is not something I find easy): I’d love it if you could follow 12 Degrees and Skiving, or just drop by now and then to say ‘ciao’.
Thank you. It’s hugely appreciated. :)
