Lino Prints

, ,

It was a very hot morning in the studio – the thermometer on the fan said 30˚C – hotter still using a bamboo baran in the place of a press. Not so much the tortured artist as slightly roasted.

I managed to get off a few more prints on various papers and experimented with gouache on the red print before I moved myself and a very hot cat – a real one as well as my prints – indoors to air-conditioned comfort. I’ve selected 3 prints that would be suitable for framing.

I’m not sure if one of these will end up in the BDAS members exhibition held in February, or if I’ll submit one of my waterless lithography prints.
