A couple of weeks ago, Howie had a little overnight trip to the vet that included a drip, a barium study and an ultrasound (hence the shaved flank). 

There was no blockage, he’s all better now and with winter here his bald patch is rapidly sprouting again. 

Even more comforting than a shaved kitty and a mystery illness is the knowledge that, once again, somewhere out there a vet won’t go hungry. The latest little visit cost…
