Saturday’s sunset was stunning, thanks to the smoke from a burn-off at Belangelo state forest. 

The tree for which our street is named. It makes for so many atmospheric photographs that I might actually dedicate a visual blog post to it.

This photo above reminds me of  Ken Raffe’s painting, Towers of the Future, which hangs in our dining room.
